Liar, liar pants on fire!

Isn’t it interesting that none of us like being lied to? But do you find it equally interesting that we need to think about how many ways and how many times we lie to other people every week and, more importantly, how many times we lie to ourselves?

No one likes a liar, so that means that even when you lie to yourself, you don’t like yourself. The applicable term here is self-hatred. What’s the nasty little thing about self-dislike?  You’re turning on yourself. And because the physical body is connected to you, your body eventually has to come into agreement with you.

I bet you can think of at least a half dozen diseases in which different parts of the body or mind turn against themselves: cancer, rheumatoid, IBD, MS, chronic ___, lupus. Well, could you examine how you lie to yourself? Please consider all the nice-nasty little ways you might lie to other people.

It’s a sin. It’s not Okay. Get to making a list, confess the sins, and name them one by one, person by person.

And yes, you already know that lying can be a stronghold. So, if you need to cancel the stronghold, let’s do it. Consider purchasing ministry resources at HealedPeople.com’s online
